Are you prepared for ACI highway e-Manifest?

Advanced Commercial Information system or ACI is an initiative of the Canada Border Services Agency that requires highway carriers to process an electronic manifest (e-Manifest) with information about the crew, conveyance, equipment and complete shipment details a minimum of one hour prior to the arrival of the truck at the border crossing.

This data will be processed through a targeting tool to detect high-risk shipments in advance of clearance. Carriers arriving without having complied with this requirement will be subject to delays, AMPS penalties and/or refused entry into Canada.

Carriers arriving without having complied with this requirement will be subject to significant delay and AMPS penalties.

ACI requires key data to be transmitted electronically before the goods are loaded at the port of departure.
